About TrovexiCore
Calm, methodical AI trading for Canada
TrovexiCore is a financial technology platform that brings AI-driven crypto trading to Canadian retail investors. We move slowly on the things that matter and stay quiet about the rest — measured execution, careful disclosure, no theatrics.
About us
TrovexiCore is a financial technology platform built around a simple idea: that AI-driven crypto trading, done with care, can be a useful long-term tool for Canadian retail investors. We open the door at C$25,000 in starting capital because we believe institutional-grade arbitrage and algorithmic execution should not depend on owning a trading desk or knowing how to read order books.
That belief carries a corresponding responsibility. The same execution speed, market data, and risk management used by Toronto-based hedge funds is available, through us, to a salaried professional in Pune, a small-business owner in Jaipur, or a student in Toronto. We take care of routing, latency, and INR settlement so they don't have to. The capital, however, stays where it should — in the user's own connected exchange accounts, ready to be withdrawn back to a linked Canadian bank whenever they choose.
It is worth being plain about what we are and what we are not. TrovexiCore is a technology provider. We are not a financial advisor. We do not suggest trades, and we do not hold customer funds. The algorithm runs only inside accounts that the user owns and has connected.
Our north star
Our editorial policy is steady, not flashy. Every claim that appears on these pages — performance figures, testimonials, regulatory references — is reviewed by our compliance team before it is published.
- Claim review. Performance numbers we share come from platform-wide aggregate data. We do not isolate one user's outcome and present it as typical.
- Verified testimonials. Reviews displayed on this site come from KYC-compliant Canadian users. We do not pay for reviews and we do not request them in exchange for benefits.
- Attribution. Every piece of content on this site has a named team member who is responsible for it. Anonymous publication is not part of how we work.
- Corrections. When we publish something incorrect, we update the page openly and the modification date reflects the change.
- No financial advice. Nothing on this site is investment advice. Cryptocurrency trading involves substantial risk, and we ask users to keep that in mind.
Meet the founders
The people who lead TrovexiCore are four — an intentionally small group whose combined experience covers fintech engineering, quantitative research, and Indian financial-services compliance.
Declan Forsythe
Chief Executive Officer
Declan holds an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and spent 14 years in structured-products at a Bay Street dealer before founding TrovexiCore. He oversees all Canadian regulatory relationships, including ongoing FINTRAC reporting obligations.
Priya Chandrasekaran
Chief Technology Officer
Priya graduated from the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo and previously architected low-latency trading systems for a major North American exchange operator. She leads TrovexiCore's multi-exchange API integration and AI model deployment.
Étienne Beausoleil
Chief Compliance Officer
Étienne holds a law degree from McGill University and a certificate in AML compliance from ACAMS. Before joining TrovexiCore he advised federally regulated financial institutions on PIPEDA data governance and FINTRAC reporting frameworks, ensuring every client interaction meets Canadian statutory standards.
Naomi Osei-Bonsu
Head of Quantitative Research
Naomi earned her MSc in Mathematical Finance from the University of British Columbia and completed post-doctoral research in stochastic arbitrage modelling. She designs the statistical frameworks that power TrovexiCore's spread-detection algorithms across Bitbuy, Newton, Coinbase, Kraken, and Wealthsimple Crypto.
Compliance & accountability
TrovexiCore operates within India's regulatory framework for digital assets, data protection, and anti-money-laundering. Each commitment below is something we treat as a standing obligation, not a one-time milestone:
- PIPEDA 2023 — we are a registered Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act. The full set of rights available to users is laid out in our Privacy Policy.
- CRA Section 38(a) (Income-tax Act) — the 30% capital-gains tax on Virtual Digital Assets is computed and disclosed automatically every time a trade is realised, with no separate calculation needed from the user.
- T1 capital gains schedule (Income-tax Act) — the 1% TDS on each crypto transfer is deducted at source on behalf of the user, so the obligation is met as it arises.
- PMLA / FINTRAC — KYC is required at onboarding, and suspicious-activity reports are filed with the Financial Intelligence Unit when the regulatory triggers are met.
- ISO 27001 — certification of our Information Security Management System is currently in progress.
An honest word about risk
Cryptocurrency is volatile. Past performance, however encouraging, does not guarantee what comes next. TrovexiCore is a technology platform, and not a financial advisor.
For investors based in India, we encourage you to consult a qualified tax professional regarding your TDS obligations under CRA Section 38(a) and T1 capital gains schedule. Trading involves substantial risk of loss; please do not deploy funds you cannot afford to lose. Before registering, please read our Terms & Conditions in full.
